Kicking off Black History Month, we're showcasing House of Brown, a 100% Black-/Family-owned and Women-led brand, with a special triple Wine of the Week!
In 2017, they saw a large influx of young and culturally diverse wine enthusiasts enter the industry. Their label designs are an homage to the brand’s Feel Seen ethos, and to the sense of welcome and belonging that are hallmarks at Brown.
Red Blend
"Lively aromas of baked candy apple, plum, raspberry and notes of allspice on the nose. Flavors of hibiscus flower, mandarin orange, black tea and supple, silky tannins encourage another sip to keep the party on the palate going. Pair with a cold smoked Hamachi collar and pickled mushrooms." - Wine Enthusiast, Tonya Pitts, 2025, Rating: 91.
Chardonnay
"Fresh and vibrant aromas of stone fruit, kumquat and orange blossoms flicker across the nose. Enticing flavors of pineapple, yellow plums, cinnamon and a kiss of citrus landing midpalate. Enjoy with sunshine and friends." - Wine Enthusiast, Tonya Pitts, 2025, Rating: 91.
Rosé
"Sometimes, we drink our roses too young, fresh, and mineral. Now and again, it is nice to enjoy a rosé with more depth and expression. I am a big advocate for the aged rosé. This one doesn't disappoint fresh lively aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and Seville orange, and notes of white pepper and dried herbs on the nose; the flavors on the palate are Bing cherry, red currant preserve, and zest of White grapefruit on the finish. Pair with grilled Salmon burgers." - Wine Enthusiast, Tonya Pitts, 2025, Rating: 91.
