Sabor a Casa, a Taste of Peru

On Friday, July 31st join us for a taste of Peru, from 5-7pm we will have a tasting of Pilsen Callao, Peru’s signature beer, and Pisco Sour as well as a food vendor outside selling Peruvian food, come join our celebration!

For my grandpa:

I still remember it like yesterday. The 80s. A box showed up at our door. It wasn’t big. But to him? It was everything.

I’ll never forget his eyes. They lit up like he was 20 years old again. He opened it so carefully and pulled out ají, coffee, cookies, things that smelled like Peru. Like home. He touched each one slowly, gently, like if he held them too tight they might disappear.

That was the happiest I ever saw him.
